Do I need lab work first?

In most cases, initial lab work isn’t required to start your GLP-1 or peptide therapy. Your provider will determine whether any baseline labs or hormone panels are needed based on your health goals and medical history.

Labs We Commonly Review

At VeyraRx™ Metabolic & Regenerative Health, lab work is not always required to begin care. However, when appropriate, reviewing key biomarkers helps your provider ensure safety, tailor dosing, and design a plan that supports your long-term health goals.

🧪 Safety Screening Labs

These baseline panels help confirm general wellness, organ function, and readiness for peptide or metabolic therapies. They may be reviewed before or during treatment to ensure optimal safety and monitoring.

Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) – evaluates liver, kidney, and electrolyte balance
Complete Blood Count (CBC) – screens red and white blood cells and overall immune status
Lipid Panel – checks cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and triglycerides
Thyroid Panel (TSH, Free T3, Free T4) – evaluates thyroid function, which influences metabolism
